Paramedics respond to 999 and 111 calls and are trained in all aspects of urgent and emergency care, ranging from problems such as cardiac arrest, heart attacks, strokes, spinal injuries and major trauma, to minor illnesses and injuries. This course equips you with the skills needed to enter this challenging and rewarding profession.
You study modules alongside students from other health disciplines, such as nurses, radiographers and midwives. This shared learning experience allows you to develop team working and understand the contribution different professionals make.
