a) School of Biology

A broad foundation across the range of Biology. The programme progresses to modules in cellular, organismal, and environmental biology with options across a range of topics. It incorporates substantial practical and field training, and development of quantitative skills. Students can expect to have the opportunity to engage with a number of specialist topics with a choice across the research areas of the School of Biology.

b) School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies

A broad foundation across the range of modern scientific Philosophy. The programme progresses from sub-honours modules providing solid grounding in each of the subject areas of Philosophy and their methodologies to a choice of advanced Honours modules that provide in depth training exploring the state of the art in specific areas connected to the research expertise of members of the School. Examples include social cognition and evolution, group processes, emotion, visual perception, or memory processes.
