Sociology is concerned with understanding social life and the place within it. In this course, students will study human connections and relationships, and how these connections, as well as social structures, such as social class, race, and gender, are linked to the way we behave. Students will benefit from the strong links with local government, social care providers, prisons, courts, charities, community development organizations, and youth organizations and will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed in a diverse range of professions.
