The Development and Emergency Practice (PGDip/ PGCert) course from Oxford Brookes University attracts students from all around the world, and is targeted at those with, or seeking, careers in NGOs, bilateral or multilateral humanitarian, development and human rights agencies, or governmental and commercial organisations working in international development.

Course length
  • Full-time: MA: 12 months, PGDip: 9 months, PGCert: 3 - 9 months (depending on module choice)
  • Part-time: MA: 24 months, PGDip: 21 months, PGCert: 9 months
