- On this course, students will grow as an artist, harnessing their writing, imagining and thinking - in a collaborative and supportive space.
- Their time on this course will be a decisive stage in the development of their writing.
- They will start writing immediately. And they will share their work with their peer group and tutors.
- They will receive insightful, sometimes challenging, but always supportive feedback on all their work. This will help them progress.
- They will be taught by a permanent staff of highly acclaimed, successful writers published by leading publishers in the UK, Europe and USA.
- And they will work with The University’s Creative Writing Fellows and visiting lecturers, including Patience Agbabi, Sally Bayley and Steven Hall, as they develop their major project.
- They will have the opportunity to meet literary agents from top agency Felicity Bryan Associates, and to pitch their work to leading publisher Philip Gwyn Jones.

Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants should normally hold a good honours degree (2.1 or above), or equivalent, in an appropriate discipline and must be able to demonstrate ability in creative writing.
Indian Eligibility:
- A bachelor degree in relevant field.
