Architecture Design and Build programmes focus on the relationships between design and the physical creation of space. This programme will explore the nature of making and production as they relate to architectural design and practice.The programme is designed to ensure that students have the opportunity to learn about architecture by making, to understand materials through hands-on exploration in their application, and ultimately to develop a critical response to the implications of design decisions on people and places.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:

Students should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, usually in a relevant subject area. This should be equivalent to at least a UK ‘Upper Second Class (2:1)’ or ‘Lower Second Class (2:2)’ degree.
Students from Indian Universities should score 60% in Upper Second Class (2:1)’ or 55% in ‘Lower Second Class (2:2)’ degrees. These are the college minimum scores and particular departments may seek grades at a higher level.
Applicant should hold a GPA of 3.0 (Upper Second Class) or 2.6 (Lower Second Class) out of 4.0 or hold a GPA of 6.0 (Upper Second Class) or 5.5 (Lower Second Class) out of 10.

English Language Requirements:

IELTS: minimum 6.5
PTE: minimum 71

Most international students need a visa/entry clearance to study in the UK. A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is a unique reference number given by an immigration sponsor to study in the UK. A CAS number is required for the student visa process. There are two different visas which students can apply for:

Student route: Students will need a student visa if they intend to study in the UK for more than six months.
Short-term study visa: The visa can be issued for up to 11 months. Employment is not permitted on this visa.
Standard visitor visa: Depending on nationality, permission must either be obtained prior to travel or, in some cases, can be obtained on arrival at the UK border.
