• Bachelor of Science in Natural Science at the University of Nottingham is a 3-year program.
  • It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
  • Students will study 120 credits a year, typically through 10, 20, or 40 credit modules. 
  • Natural sciences allow students to study a combination of sciences, helping students to understand where they may want to specialize.
  • Students will choose a combination of three subjects (called a stream) in the first year and study two subjects to degree level from their second year.
  • Teaching is provided by academic staff within the relevant school. The additional support is provided in small group and practical classes from staff, PhD students, and post-doctoral researchers.
  • Natural sciences students have the option to transfer during their degree to a Natural Sciences with Placement Year program.
  • The graduates use their knowledge to work for companies including Cancer Research, the National Nuclear Laboratory, and Rolls-Royce.
