• Master of Arts in Media, Communications, and Culture at the University of Nottingham is a 1-year program.
  • It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
  • The program is also available on a part-time basis for the duration of 2-3 years.
  • The program provides students with the theoretical and analytical training required to continue to a research degree or to develop professional skills relevant to working at the management level in the fields of media and communications policy and industry. 
  • The core modules of the program are:
    • Approaches to Theory 
    • Issues and Challenges in Contemporary Media
    • Mass Media
    • Postcolonial Theory
    • Research Methods and Design
    • Working in the Culture Industry: Case Study Workshops
  • The course is divided into two semesters and a summer period and will take three modules per semester.
  • Students will then complete a dissertation over the summer to be submitted in September.
