About this course:

  • The course will equip students with broad knowledge across a wide range of management subject areas and enable you to develop more specialist knowledge as it progresses.
  • Students can add a year's work placement, making your master's a two-year course.
  • Students will complete a hands-on project, giving them a fantastic opportunity to use the theories and knowledge they have gained to produce a meaningful piece of work.
  • Projects include the Consultancy Experience Project, Internship, Business Research Project and Global Experience Project.
  • It is a conversion master's and is therefore not restricted to students with a business or management related first degree.
  • University’s partnership with the CMI means that on successful completion of this course students will receive the MSc Management and Global Supply Chain Management and the CMI Level 7 Diploma in Management and Leadership.
  • This route will both deepen students understanding of strategic operations across a range of sectors and use the supply chain as a basis for integrating their understanding of the other management functions.
  • Typically, these routes are made up of students from over 25 different countries, which means students will have a truly international learning experience.
  • You will complete a comprehensive development programme, which includes a short residential team-building course, normally held in the Peak District.
  • Students can learn from the best by attending guest lectures from leading organisations. Previous speakers have included representatives from companies such as E.ON, Lego, Experian, Santander and IBM.
