MS in Mechanical Engineering ( With Advanced Practice) at Northumbria University is offered as a 2-year program.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis only.
The MSc Mechanical Engineering course will provide students with advanced knowledge and skills in key aspects of mechanical engineering.
Throughout the duration of this course, students will develop a critical awareness of ethical and environmental considerations, in addition to learning about advanced mechanical engineering practice and theory.
In the second year, for one semester, students will study in another country or join a research group.
This valuable experience will enhance employability and further develop students’ theoretical and practical skills.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
A GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 is required to be eligible for the program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students must complete an undergraduate degree with first-class in a relevant field from a highly ranked university in India.
Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
