• Newcastle focuses on three core areas – pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and statistics – and they have the flexibility to tailor the combination of these to suit their interests.
  • On this degree, they will select mostly mathematics modules in the later stages. These include:

    • methods for solving differential equations
