• In Years 1 and 2 students focus on a number of key discipline-based topics, molecular biology, cell biology, microbiology, human biology, and ecology and biodiversity.
  • In the final year, they are given the choice of taking two modules to allow specialism in biomedical or ecological sciences: one from Medical Microbiology, and Biodiversity and Ecosystems one from Biotherapeutics, and Biogeography and Conservation; or a combination of the two.
  • These modules integrate the key concepts addressed within the themes and heighten awareness to the continuing advances in biological sciences and their impact on other disciplines.
