This is an accelerated programme that provides an opportunity for graduates to gain the knowledge and skills to practise as a physiotherapist. Successful graduates of this MSc are eligible to apply for membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and for registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
The Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration) programme is offered at the Manchester Metropolitan University. With tutorial teaching as key, the programme content aims to develop a studentÕs ability to integrate theory with practice and to demonstrate a high level of critical thinking. There is also a strong focus on placements.

Placement options
Students undertake five practice placements located in hospitals, the community, schools and health centres throughout the North West of England (NHS and private). New placement opportunities are continually being developed in areas such as professional sport and internationally renowned practices. At the end of the programme students undertake a sixth placement, which is an elective placement that is chosen and arranged by the student.
