Combine your love of chemistry with an interest in business. As well as gaining a broad education in chemistry, you will study management topics taught by the School of Management. YouÕll develop an understanding of the social, legal and economic implications of the decisions that managers in chemical and related industries are required to make. On graduation, youÕll be well suited to roles in scientific industries, including research, as well as areas such as marketing, administration and finance.
A broad introduction to chemistry will help you to develop the practical and theoretical skills modern chemists need. YouÕll gain an understanding of the theories of chemical behaviour and how they are applied. You will also develop skills in experimental chemistry and in designing experiments to test hypotheses. Our chemistry degrees have the same core units in the first year giving you the flexibility to switch courses.
