In the first two years you will study core topics in mathematics and physics. You can change the balance of the subjects through your choice of optional units in the following years. YouÕll benefit from studying in two departments and you may be able to transfer into either physics or mathematics if you decide to specialise.
The MSci degree gives you the opportunity to enhance and deepen your knowledge compared to BSc students, particularly in topics at the forefront of research. YouÕll study masters-level units and a research project, preparing you for more technical roles, postgraduate study or a career in research.Ê
