Our course teaches you how to use physical science, mathematics and computing to analyse engineering systems. You'll combine this with study in design and manufacturing processes to understand how modern industry works.Ê

YouÕll learn how to incorporate design into the science, manufacturing and management elements of engineering. You can apply this knowledge to analyse, build and test a product from scratch. You can switch to any of our five mechanical engineering degrees up to the end of your second year.

The flexibility in our course structure lets you choose the direction of your degree with a large pick of option units including aerospace, automotive, design, manufacturing, environmental or medical engineering.Ê

Our MEng degrees give you an in-depth study experience through advanced taught units and project work and fulfil the educational requirements you need to become a Chartered Engineer.
