Our Genetics programme covers every aspect of this fast-moving discipline, giving you a thorough grounding in the molecular biology of DNA, RNA and proteins, as well as the roles of genes in development, ecology and evolution. With an interesting choice of modules in the second and final years, you can mix and match to take a broad approach to your studies, or drill deep into your area of interest.
In your final year, weÕll support you to carry out an original investigative or research project, working alongside established researchers.
You can complete your Genetics degree in three or four years. If you choose to study abroad, this will take place in Year 3, and the Year 3 modules will instead be studied in Year 4.
