The problems facing today’s engineers are increasingly complex issues such as energy, transportation, and sustainability. They draw upon a range of engineering disciplines as well as topics such as policy and human behavior. To solve these problems, engineers need both sound technical knowledge and a multi-disciplinary perspective. This multi-disciplinary outlook forms the basis of the General Engineering study at King’s. General Engineering students will benefit from a course that builds strong engineering science principles, combined with design and entrepreneurial insight, on an analytical foundation of mathematics and computing.
