• Master of Science in Communications and Signal Processing at Imperial College London is a 1-year program.
  • It is an on-campus, 90 credits program offered on a full-time basis.
  • This course will provide students with in-depth knowledge and critical awareness of theoretical and practical solutions.
  • Students study taught modules are both core and optional that are held in the Autumn and Spring terms (October–April).
  • Modules are taught through a blend of lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratories.
  • The core modules of the program are:
    • Adaptive Signal Processing and Machine Intelligence (Spring)
    • Advanced Communication Theory (Autumn)
    • Digital Signal Processing and Digital Filters (Autumn)
    • Probability and Stochastic Processes (Autumn)
    • S1 LAB
  • Students will then take written exams on the studied modules between May and June.
  • Studentsalso complete a substantial individual research project, which will be carried out in an area of special interest.
  • The areas of the application include:
    • mobile communications (3G/4G/LTE and future 5G)
    • Communication networks
    • image processing and robotic vision
    • audio and video recording
    • radar and sonar detection
    • biomedical signal processing, etc.
  • This course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council.
