• All the courses follow the same core curriculum for the first two years, covering key areas of mathematics such as algebra, differential equations, and probability and statistics.
  • Elective modules in the second year enable to deepen the knowledge of some areas while maintaining a broad understanding.
  • On the BSc in Mathematics with Applied Mathematics/Mathematical Physics, students will specialise in Applied Mathematics in the third year, when they take at least five modules from a variety of relevant topics such as dynamics of games, mathematical biology and scientific computation.  The modules will focus on how mathematical methods can be used to solve problems in physics or the other sciences.
