Who is it for?

This Media, Communication and Sociology (Hons) course at City, University of London is for those students wishing to pursuing postgraduate careers in media and related research fields such as professional journalism training and careers in publishing, advertising, public relations, marketing and arts administration and policy.

Sociology students have secured placements with a diversity of organisations, large and small, international and local and often situated within minutes of the University, working in the following areas:

If you opt onto a Q-Step pathway, you will do a workplace Data Placement in Year 2 and have the opportunity to do an international placement between Year 2 and Year 3.
