Objectives

City's BSc Economics with Accounting (Hons) course will give you a wide variety of transferable skills that are invaluable when seeking employment. Modules in accountancy are delivered at Cass Business School.

At City, University of London, you will learn the latest developments in all major fields of economics from lecturers recruited for their research excellence.

Our degrees provide good preparation for postgraduate study. Economics graduates from City are currently pursuing further study in Economics, Business, Finance and Management at LSE, UCL, Oxford and Cambridge.

Successful completion of this degree gives you multiple exemptions from professional licensing examinations with several prestigious accountancy bodies including CIMA, ACCA and ICAEW.

Placements

You have the opportunity to undertake a one-year work placement between years two and three of your Economics degree at City. Our Careers Service will work with you to identify the best means of finding a placement.
