Objectives
Our Law LLB degree gives you a foundation in the essential skills and knowledge needed to be successful in law; whether you are interested in pursuing a career as a barrister or lawyer, within governmental bodies, international NGOs, the Civil Service or within the European Union.

Career prospects
After completing the Law degree many students go on to become practising solicitors or barristers, but the course also allows students to pursue a wide range of careers.
Graduates might work for other providers of legal services and regulatory agencies; non-governmental bodies and international NGOs; the Law Commission; the European Union; as well as the Civil Service. Graduates often successfully apply for places on general graduate training programmes with property firms, investment banks and consultancy firms and within the retail sector.
