- Modules are designated as core or option in accordance with professional body requirements and internal Academic Framework review, so may be subject to change.
- Students will be required to undertake modules that the University designates as core and will have a choice of designated option modules. Additionally, option modules may be offered subject to meeting minimum student numbers.
- Early in the second year of study, students can decide whether to undertake a paid 48-week work placement in the UK or overseas.
- They would do this placement between their second and third year of study.
- Placements give them the experience of what it’s like to work in the business and finance sectors, as well as giving them a chance to put their learning into practice, develop personal skills and enhance their employability.
- Students who complete the placement year often experience an improvement in their academic performance and many go on to gain first-class honours degrees, often returning to work for their placement company after graduation.
