In this course taught at students will study a variety of sports science and therapeutic modules on this demanding and extremely rewarding course. In their first year, they will be able to register as a student member of The Society of Sports Therapists. Through supervised placements, you will build up the working hours required to register as a sports therapist upon graduation.
Through practical placements under the supervision of a professional, they will accrue the working hours they need to register as a sports therapist. In our rehabilitation science labs, they can practice massage skills and assess and treat athletes. Plus, we have a specialized sports injury and massage clinic at our Headingley Campus - they will have the opportunity to work here, be supervised, and enhance their skills.
