All our lecturers are practicing artists, producing and performing work. They are interested in working with students from a variety of dance backgrounds and they will encourage you to develop your creativity.
By studying in Leeds, students will benefit from a hub of cultural activity in the city. With venues including Northern Ballet / Phoenix Dance Theatre, Yorkshire Dance National Dance Agency, The West Yorkshire Playhouse, The Riley Theatre and The Carriageworks, they will find plenty of inspiration for your work. Leeds also hosts regular cultural events like Leeds Festival and Leeds Carnival, the UK's second largest after Notting Hill Carnival.

Their career options will be almost limitless they could work as a performer, choreographer, director, producer, curator, facilitator, teacher, dance filmmaker, arts manager or arts administrator.
