Combining teaching from the Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion (PPR) and the Law School, this degree develops skills, ability and knowledge in the field of International Relations. Students without prior study of politics, law or international relations are encouraged, but are expected to work hard to make up the gap to master advanced level study of these subjects.

A student is awarded either an LLM or an MA degree dependent on the weighting of law and politics courses studied. A major factor will be the department responsible for the supervision of the final dissertation.
