n year 1 you'll study an introduction to business analytics where you'll learn to analyse data using mathematical techniques and information technology to improve businesses decision-making. You'll also become familiar with how information in IT systems can be standardised, linked and interact with modern-day business.
In year 2 you'll look at finance solutions for business. On this module, you'll have access to our dedicated Bloomberg Trading room completely designed to give you the experience of working in a fast-paced professional environment.Ê
In year 3 there's a big focus on putting what you've learnt into practice ensuring you're prepared for the world of work. In the module Strategy, Management and Consultancy, you'll learn about the role of a consultant in modern-day business. You'll develop your management skills, knowledge and experience by undertaking a live project for an external client. This project will emphasise the importance of blending business, people and technology issues when analysing problem situations to support businesses to gain a competitive advantage. You'll work in groups for the consultancy project and present this to the external client.
