MS in Economics at the University of Huddersfield is offered as a 1-year program.

This conversion course is ideal if you’ve not previously studied economics but want to develop the knowledge and skills required to pursue a career in business and finance.
The course covers the fundamentals of how economies operate around the world, and enables you to make sense of the numbers behind the markets.
Students will have the opportunity to practice live share dealing in Trading Room.
Students will have the opportunity to develop the analytical skills through the study of econometrics and deepen the understanding of the global economy.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Applicants must hold an Honours degree (2:2 or above) in any subject or an equivalent professional qualification.
A GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 is required to be eligible for the program.
Applicants with other professional qualifications and/or experience will be considered on an individual basis.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students must complete an undergraduate degree with first-class in a relevant field from a highly ranked university in India.
Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
