• The University of Hertfordshire offers an MSc in Nursing – Adult with a duration of 2 years.

  • 50% of learning will occur at the university studying the theory of nursing and 50% of learning will occur in practice placements
  • Students will develop critical thinking skills and will be able to appraise and apply complex evidence to their learning in order to make rational decisions relating to patient care and professional judgment.

  • Students will be taught by expert nursing academics, all recently awarded Teaching Innovation of the Year at the Student Nursing Times Awards 2020.
  • Students will gain clinical experience working alongside experienced senior nursing staff.
  • Previous students have worked in GP surgery placements, nursing homes, and community hospitals.
  • The student-faculty ratio is 4:5.
