As the BA Combined degree is free from professional regulations, you are able to have much greater freedom in the modules you study in you second and third years. It may therefore be possible to tailor your studies to compliment your other subject.
- Efforts are made to enhance your experience by developing and using links with the local legal professions. We are assisted in this to a certain extent, as Chester has been a legal centre since the Middle Ages.
- During the Law and French course offered by the University of Chester, you will have the opportunity to undertake a short placement at the end of Year 2 (Level 5). Most students also spend an academic year in a French-speaking country. This allows you to split your experience of residence abroad, offering you the chance to spend time on different types of placement and in different countries.
- In your first year you will have the opportunity to study a further language from scratch.
