• MSc in Intelligent Manufacturing Systems is designed to develop engineers who will be able to play an effective role in developing and managing future manufacturing systems.
  • These are the future systems that exploit the growth in cyber-physical technologies, colloquially know as Industry 4.0, smart factory, or factory of the future. As factories become smarter, countries around the world have started to introduce state-level initiatives to promote digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0, and there is a global need for engineers equipped with the understanding and skills to drive these initiatives.
  • In WMG, we work at the forefront of emerging technologies, and through collaborative R&D with industry partners we drive the transfer of knowledge into new areas. As an active global player in cyber manufacturing research, WMG is well placed to drive skills development in this area.
