Career opportunities

ThisÊTextiles programme from The University of EdinburghÊcan offer a route into careers in many areas, including the fashion and textile industries, and beyond. Graduates in textiles have an excellent track record, going on to work directly in design studios in London, Paris and Milan, in companies such as Phoebe English, Alexander McQueen, Michael Kors, De Gournay, and Burberry.

Our graduates have additionally gone on to become stylists, fashion buyers, and fine artists, or have pursued careers in related design industries such as automotive interiors and interior design.
