- Doctor of Philosophy in Visual Computing at Cardiff University is a 3 years program.
- It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.

- The program focus on visual computing through the Computer Science and Informatics research program (MPhil, PhD).

- Research in the school is organized into three Research Groups:
- Complex systems
- Data and knowledge engineering
- Visual computing.
- Students get experience in many areas of computer vision, image, and video processing.

- Over the course of the study, research students will publish a number of papers and attend conferences that will help them work towards their thesis.
