The GovernmentÕs Industrial Strategy white paper, ÒBuilding a Britain fit for the futureÓ 2017 included an additional £300 million investment in world class talent over the next three years, to develop skills relevant to the Strategy.
Of this additional funding EPSRC expects to be allocated £19.5 million to deliver at least 150 studentships in areas aligned with the Industrial Strategy. As a result, we are offering three fully-funded 4-year PhD EPSRC NPIF studentships for the 2018-19 academic year in Chemistry and Engineering.

Academic Requirements:

Applicants should complete a bachelor’s degree or masters degree in relevant subject
Official transcripts of all the previous academic experience
Students should provide evidence of previous research experience

English Language Requirements:

IELTS Academic: 6.5 minimum overall with minimum of 5.5 in each subskill
PTE Academic: Atleast 69 overall with minimum of 59 in communicative skills
TOEFL IBT: minimum 90 overall with scores of 17 in writing, 17 in listening, 18 in reading and 20 for speaking
