• Master of Science in Event Management at the University of The West of England is a 1-year program.

  • This course offers the opportunity to hone students’ practical skills by getting involved in a range of exciting events and projects, building on the expertise and many links with event managers, organizations, and venues in southwest England and beyond.
  • By studying MSc Events Management, students will be equipped with in-depth knowledge and understanding of planning, organizing, and evaluating the impact of a wide variety of events in a range of different industry sectors. 
  • Students will study the theories and practices of event management, which will be underpinned by marketing, project management, leadership, and tourism modules.
  • Students opt for the full-time course have to attend the University for 12 months with scheduled classes taking place for an average of 12 hours per week during term time.
  • A variety of assessment approaches are used, both individual and group-based, including essays, examinations, reports, critical literature reviews, vivas and presentations.
