• Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography at the University of The West of England is a 3 years program.
  • It is an on-campus, honours program offered on a full-time basis.
  • This course is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and re-accreditation by the Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR).
  • Students will learn in industry-standard facilities where they will observe and practise diagnostic procedures.
  • The course has a strong practical focus, incorporating evidence-based learning, simulations and placements throughout. 
  • The learning and teaching process use a mix of lectures, practical sessions, experiments, student-led seminars, e-learning, guided self-study and problem-based learning, using scenarios and case studies, to develop their understanding and skills
  • Students will go on a variety of placements to increase their experience, help them to become more adaptable, and develop their professional skills, health industry knowledge, and network.
  • Students will be assess using a mixture of examinations, assignments, case studies, appraisals of clinical skills, student-led presentations, their clinical portfolio, research dissertation, weblogs and wikis.
