• Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Communication at the University of The West of England is a 3 years program.
  • It is an on-campus, honours program offered on a full-time and part-time basis.
  • As fashion communication graduates, students will be equipped with the hands-on skills needed to become a photographer, stylist, trend forecaster, fashion editor, digital marketer, or visual merchandiser.
  • Students will learn through a mix of taught, independent and collaborative learning, including lectures, seminars, technical workshops, tutorials, presentations, critiques, and external visits.
  • students are expected to be taught for a minimum of three days each week.
  • If students study on the four-year sandwich course, they will have to spend a year away from the University on a work placement after Year two.
  • The majority of the assessments are coursework. Assessment types include portfolio assessments, presentations, and exhibitions.
  • Students are also required to engage in peer assessment as part of the formative assessment process.
  • Throughout the course, students will shape their studies towards their chosen career path through the modules and assessments.
