The Accounting and Finance with Study Abroad course from University of Bristol combines the challenging, broad academic content of all our accounting degrees with an overseas dimension that reflects the international nature of modern business.

To join this degree apply initially to BSc Accounting and Finance or BSc Economics and Accounting; during your first year you can then put your name forward for consideration for the 'with Study Abroad' course. Allocation of places is merit-based, depending on your first-year examination results.

Course structure

Years one and two cover underpinning material in financial and management accounting, corporate finance and applied quantitative research methods, as well as the option to choose modules in economics, business law, management, taxation and a variety of open units from across the University.

You will spend year three studying modules in accounting and finance at a partner institution overseas, taught in English. Currently, we have links with universities in continental Europe, Australia, South Korea and Singapore. Find out more about opportunities to study overseas at Global Opportunities.

You will return to Bristol for your fourth year to study financial markets, advanced financial reporting, advanced corporate finance and advanced management accounting.
