• This joint honours course is offered by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the Department of Computer Science, and is designed to meet the needs of the computing and electronics industries.
  • Students will learn how to design and build hardware and software for all types of computer systems in order to implement applications ranging from medical equipment and autonomous vehicles to finance systems.
  • The first two years cover the foundations of computing and electronics, equipping you to work confidently in software and hardware. Year three includes a major project, either based in industry or industry inspired and undertaken at the University. You can tailor your fourth year to suit your interests by choosing an individual project and optional units.
