You'll be trained in a range of current methodologies for linguistic analysis and will plan and execute original, data-driven research. YouÕll become an active member of a vibrant scholarly community and attend talks and numerous events.

Careers
During your Applied Linguistics MA you develop skills in written communication, critical assessment and problem solving. Our graduates often go on to careers in education and education management, particularly relating to:
- the teaching of primary language skills
- English as a second or foreign language
