The course will further develop your knowledge and understanding of health and social care practice within the wider social, policy, legal and organisation environment within which they are situated.
The course enables a deeper and critical engagement with subjects. Level 6 continues to have a strong work-based learning strand and will enable you to further develop a range of transferable, professional and employability-enhancing skills needed for effective practice.
Area of study are expected to include:
- Developing a critical perspective on current issues in the human services
- Leadership, management and multi-agency working in the human services
- Practice-based research in health and social care (including developing a practice-based project proposal)
