The first year teaches core subjects within the realms of accounting, finance and economics, but in year two youÕllÊdiversify into your specialist subjects orÊperhaps even transfer to an alternative pathway, allowing you to keep your options open or to bring your curriculum in line with your future career aspirations. The second year also opens the door to travel, as those interested in studying abroad will have the opportunity to attend one of our international partner institutions for the second semester. We currently boast partners in Australia, Canada and Europe.
In year three youÕll get the chance to throw yourself into a real-world working environment with a 30-week placement, which can be completed at home or abroad, and is intended as an opportunity for you to implement the theoretical framework forged in the classroom, whilst generating a network of key contacts, adding substance to your resume, and ultimately improving your employability.
As well as being accredited by five industry-leading bodies, this four-year course offers the bonus of exemptions for accountancy qualifications meaning you may not have to take all the exams required to become a Chartered Accountant.
87% of our final year students feel that the IT resources and facilities have supported their learning. Join us on live chat now to find out more, or register to meet us at anÊopen day. Or you could watch theÊonline presentationÊto find out more about this course.
