One of the key features of this degree is its flexibility;Êall the first year units are the same, giving you flexibility to transfer to another pathway and specialise in your second and final year.ÊYouÕll also have the option to study abroad at one of our international partner institutions during the second semester of the second year. Currently we have partners in Australia, Canada and Europe.
In year three you can complete a 30-week placement at home or abroad, to add real-world context to the theoretical framework forged in the classroom, gain invaluable experience and create a network of professional contacts. Top-performing students on this course will have the opportunity to obtain the ICAEWÕs Certificate in Finance, Accounting and BusinessÊin their final year. We are one of only a few UK universities able to offer this.
WhatÕs more, our course is accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Association of International Accountants, the Charted Institute of Management Accountants, the Chartered Institute of Taxation, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, and if that wasnÕt enough, because our accounting and finance degrees offer exemptions for accountancy qualifications, upon graduating you may not have to take all the exams required to become a Chartered Accountant.
87% of our final year students feel that the IT resources and facilities have supported their learning. Join us on live chat now to find out more, or register to meet us at anÊopen day.ÊOr you could watch theÊonline presentationÊto find out more about this course.
