Petroleum Engineering programme at University of Abereden is designed with industry support and aims to produce world-class Petroleum Engineering professionals that are fully prepared to take up essential roles in the upstream oil and gas industry.

Drawing upon a long established track record of excellence in teaching and research, the programme is delivered jointly by the School of Engineering and Department of Geology and Petroleum Geology, as well as key informed contribution from industry based lecturers and tutors.

The programme covers a broad range of courses including, the fundamentals of petroleum geoscience, enhanced oil recovery, reservoir simulation and well and production engineering.
