• The program is designed in the context of an increasing trend towards media professionals working independently, or as part of a multi-disciplinary team, for a range of clients. While the emphasis is placed on working environments in the UAE and the greater Middle East region, the theories and skills are applicable around the world in developed as well as emerging markets. Students will be exposed to the latest changes and developments in mass communication, including social media, digital media and emerging tools, journalism and storytelling. With industry internship programmes and visits to media houses in Dubai and elsewhere, the course proves beneficial in establishing a thorough grounding in the field.
