• BITS Pilani Dubai offers a BE of Mechanical Engineering program for a duration of 4 years.
  • It is a full-time course.
  • Mechanical Engineers learn to solve engineering problems in the area of design and manufacturing, automation, robotics, and thermal-fluid engineering.
  • The first two semesters cover fundamental courses that are common to all departments. From the second year onwards we start mechanical-specific courses.
  • Students are required to complete about 120 credits of coursework. These courses are divided into four categories:
    • Department Core Course
    • Department Electives
    • Open Electives 
    • Humanities Elective
  • There is an option to do an off-campus thesis as well wherein students can spend one semester at other foreign universities and do their thesis work. The minimum graduating CGPA is 4.5
  • BITS Pilani Dubai campus offers a three-tier education structure, i.e., BE in Mechanical Engineering, M.E. in Design Engineering, and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. 
  • The fee convertible in INR is approx 8,96,850.
