The fundamental reason I chose this college is because of the course it has provided with regard to Public Policy, there is an amazing investment in the college resources and it really aids in placement, I chose this college over TISS and St.Xavier's due to its proximity to Delhi and opportunities the alumni and the faculty. I have not applied to any other college as I was really fixated on this college. The admission process for my course is simply online application with an interview. They ask for a writing sample, thats it.
There are about 40 students in a class and the girls to boys ratio is approximately 1.5:1 and there are students in my class across the country and genders and majorly come from South India. The peer group is beautiful and the one-to-one interaction is amazing and every course takes marks for class participation. The classes are so engaging that people are eager to go to classes. And I believe that it is an amazing area to learn.
Almost all of them have done internships and through personal contacts, most of them are unpaid government interns and max payment is 10k. Most of them preferred NITI Aayog and other ministries and many convert them into a pro in the final one, the internships for law is better and more expansive.
Final Placements start in around Feb and almost all of them get placed with an average CTC of 6 LPA and highest placement 12 LPA and most of the preferred companies consulting companies, companies like Nangia and Sambodhi hire in bulk and the placement committee is called as the OCS and the process is very transparent.
The semester fees for is around 1.25 lakhs as the academic fees and 1.5 lakhs for the hostel. So, the total fees I paid was around 3 lakhs per semester and this is one of the least costing course in Jindal. This fees is way higher compared to other colleges. Other expenses is variables as if you are a regular eater outside, then it is will cost you a lot and there is no vary in fees for different categories of students. The college does provide scholarships for academically outstanding students and the scholarship ratio is 1:10 approximately and the amount variates from course to course.
There is amazing sport facilities ranging from indoor to outdoor and there are all possible equipment an the college has a good gym with all required equipments. A swimming pool is being constructed and we have good auditorium and libraries across the all campus and access to all research websites for free. We cannot have a personal vehicle here and no relatives can stay overnight. The college has a robust medical centre. The overall campus life is amazing and students play sports after classes, the nightlife is pretty good and cafe is open till 1 am. The locality is also safe out and there is a police station right outside. We have two fests: Biswamil and Magmum and there happens concerts too and Amit Trivedi performed here. There are over 50 clubs and these Law School clubs are ADR and Moot, there are good exchange programmes and that is of an extra cost.
There are seperate hostels and no cross entries are allowed and there are over 14 hostels ever spilt for both boys and girls. Hostel allocations comes in the form of room bidding and the hostel fees is approximately 1,50,000. Only master's students can come and go before 11 pm and bachelor's students need parent's permission but you can walk around in the campus whenever you want. The fooding is included in the hostel fees and all hostel have vending machines and food centres. The food quality is good and very hygienic. The hostels are highly guarded and safe and there have been no instances of problems. We have 2,3 and 4 sharing and it is allocation is on random basis. We are provided with Acs, Water Filters, WiFi, Cupboards and other necessary amenities and the quality is also good. We also have a common room and have a pool table, tv, table tennis table and the washrooms are highly clean and attached. Approximately 2 people share per washroom.
The whole admission process is relatively is very easy since the course is newer. So the admission process is only a basic interview about why do we want to join this particular course and college. They even ask about our Bachelor's degree and our specialisation in it and why did we choose that. So, there is no particular exam for the intro of this course and there is no management quota for anyone here.
Since BMS is a professional course, there are both theory and practical subjects. It is not a difficult course to be precise but yeah some subjects are particularly tough in one year there are two semester and so exams are conducted twice in an academic year. Usually in my dear there are 4 classes mostly college starts at 9 and goes on till 330 or Max 5:30 each of the faculty have their own methods to teach and attendance is to be maintained years there are marks for attendance which are important in your assessment and in this college no one has been penalised for attendance yet.

The best thing of this course is that its duration is only 2 years and gives highly payable jobs in just 2 years. Competition for government job in this field is not so tough selection rate is almost 40-50% . College provides all facilities.
PLACEMENT ARE GOOD LIKE HIGHEST PACKAGE PLACED WAS 50LAKH PER YEAR AND MINIMUM PACKAGE IS 8 LAKH AVERAGE PACAKGE OFFERED IS 12 LAKH PER YEAR MANY COMPANIES VISIT FOR LACEMEN LIKE ONE PLUS AND TCS AND UBER AND ZOMATO ETC
Lab is not good.I belongs to Computer science department in our lab 60 percent of system is not working and remaining are slow running and their keyboard not working etc. And we can not use the lab when we need we can only use the lab on particular date for one hour in a week.
In terms of course curriculum the faculty members only teaches that which is required for external exams or practicals. Other than that they don't give any advance knowledge and prepare us for further applications. I think they should more focus on building the skills of the students than preparing them for exams. The difficulty level of exams are also not that high. It is medium level and we can pass that. The 3 hours for the exam are enough.
Students from the 7th semester become eligible for the placement and the 6.32 cgpa is the minimum cgpa required to sit in the placement interview. tcs, Flipkart, wipro etc are the companies which visits, but the placement ratio is very low. 24 lpa is the highest placement given by Flipkart and 7 lpa is the average package. approx 60% students get placed. but many of them try to get off-campus placement. i will do mtech from iit after completing the degree.
many companies visit our college but not that famous product based companies so for a good placement one have to apply offcampus (advice of senior) you cannot fully depend on campus placements this is one challenge that student will face that they have to be serious enough and apply by their own perecntage is 95 perecent placed till this date but their packages is not that high 300 plus companies visit evry year highest 50 lpa package 1500 plus paid internships are their average package is seven to eight lpa my plan is to seek for offcampus opportunites
