I choose this university because it was among the best in India. I would have wished to go to different universities like DTU but am a foreigner and I don’t know India so , i was relaying on what information the internet gives me. The admission process was easy since am under scholarship and most processes was done for me .
In my class we are a total of around 50 students. The strength per day is around 3/4: The ration of girls to boys is around 2:10. For the overall college i can’t say since most time am in class and if not am outside the university. In my class am the only foreigner from kenya and most of the other students are from punjab state. I can say half of the students attend class to genuinely learn and the rest just for attendance
Placements are ment for the local students which are the indians. But placements achievement is around 1/4 of the classes. In my cause we have projects to do and not internships.since i am doing a course in computer applications so we have to make applications or websites
Final placements take during your last semester. Since i am a foreign student, i don’t do placements since it is ment for the local students. But to what i see many students get placed in different companies. Not every student gets a placement. The placements depend on the grades and how the students do there interviews.
I am under ICCR scholarship and my fee is being paid for by that scheme. My fee is around 80 to 1 lakh . I am not sure of it cause the school has international students cell which deals with all the formalities. The school also has many students from the same scheme so they have a system to deal with it.
The university has a field for football basketball and volleyball. The is also auditorium where events and seminars are conducted. Each department has a library and also there is a main library which has all the books. Yes it is allowed to have personal bike or a car in the university. Relatives can visit but they will have to book and pay for the guest room . There are other food joints like coffee house and snacks joint The school has a medical centre which is well equipped and it is always open .The overall campus life is great. Most students play games like cricket during there free time or go to gardens to relax. Most cafeterias are open till late night at 10. The locality is safe to walk around at night cause there are police men on the roads .
Yes boys and girls hostels are separated. There are around 4 hostels for the boys which can occupy nearly 500-1000 students each. And for the girls hostels its around 4 hostels. Allocation is based on first come basis. The hostel timing are that girls are supposed to be in the hostels by nine at night and the boys have a limited time to come and go out. The girls are not allowed in the boys hostels vice versa. For the international hostels we pay 5000 rupees per month for a room shared, which is 2 students per room. Food is not included in the hostel fee. You have to go to the hostel mess and food starts from 35 rupees . The food is not that great . I don’t eat at the mess so i can’t say much about it. The hostels are guarded.I cant really comment on the hostels cause i moved out to a pg long time ago. But in the pg each room has its own washroom and its our own responsibility to clean it. It comes with ac , geyser and kitchen
For my admission ,I first applied online through ICCR scholarship. Through the website you submit all the documents like you education transcripts, passport and medical report. Then you select the course you want to do and pick 5 schools. The mission will submit your documents to those schools and if any of them accepts your admission you will pick one if they are more than two . The mission will pay for your flight ticket to the school then the school will give you all the required documents to fill and submit. ICCR scholarship will pay for the admission process and the school fees directly to the school if your admission is completed successfully. Like for GNDU , they have an office that deals directly with the students and the admission process making it easy to be admitted since they do most of the work.
Student will not get failed most probably. Good od aspects is has various opportunities and the bad aspect is have busy schedule. Two exams in one year. Class are from 8 AM to 5 PM due to which we have not that much time to do other skillful activities . Have gap in class like after First and second class we have at 3:20 AM class , so who come from distance they face difficulty. The teaching is average. There are some teachers that I will admire because they teach well and are friendly in nature. The attendance is necessary because on the basis of this we will get marks like around 6. No I haven't seen someone is penalised for attendence
intensively comprehensive course providing and teaching all the necesary components in terms of industry relevance proper introduction to real world approach software teaching is a little less focused upon more focus shall be laid on the softwares and practical training preparation major and minor exams happen two times in a year each. minors are for all theory subjects and major exams are for both theory as well as studio subject with moderate level of difficulty
Placement are also there but in our course placement are not so good because placement are take place in most of IT sector...but our college provide intership to the students most of students got intern from the University
While I don't have personal experiences, I can offer a general view on how placements and employability often work for college students: 1. **Campus Placements**: - **On-Campus Recruitment**: Many colleges have a dedicated placement cell that organizes recruitment drives where companies visit the campus to hire students for various roles. - **Industry Connections**: Colleges with strong ties to industries often have better placement rates. They might invite companies for job fairs, internships, and on-campus interviews. - **Placement Statistics**: Colleges typically publish placement statistics, including average salary offers, companies that recruit from the campus, and placement percentages. 2. **Employability Without Campus Placement**: - **Internships and Networking**: Gaining practical experience through internships and building a professional network can significantly enhance employability. - **Skill Development**: Acquiring relevant skills and certifications rel
