Its closer to my place and also very well reputed. Few of my neighbours are the alumni of this college and gave me good reviews also. The cut off for the college is around 95 percentile in CET examination through CAP rounds.
The course curriculum is very well prepared. The subjects train students well for industrial pharmacy. There are two exams to be held before sem end exams. These are called as the sessionals 1 and 2. They conduct theory exams of 30 marks and practical exams of 40 marks. The sem end exams consists of 75 marks theory papers and 40 marks practical exams. The internals are of 25 marks.
The internships are introduced in the third year of the BPharm course. Hospitals like Bethany hospital in Thane and many more companies have been introduced to us by the college. I don't know much about the internship as I haven't reached that stage yet.
The yearly fee is around 1.2L for open category students. The fee decreases according to the cast categories. ( Sc/st is 5k, OBC around 20k)There is scholarship scheme available for students who got into the college through CAP rounds only. Management quota students are not eligible for this scheme. This scheme decreses the fee by 30k. You can also apply for EBC by submitting the appropriate documents.
Theres a student council and consists of around 15 commitees. The cultural and sports events are held very fondly. The college also keeps educational seminars often by well reputed people in the pharma industry. This helps in keeping the students updated about the news.
The faculty is very well made and maintained. All of them are PHD graduates mostly. The exceptions are the ones that have completed master's degree. All of them are very knowledgeable and teach concepts very clearly. Especially the pharmacognosy department and Organic chemistry department.
